Benjamin San Souci, although always wanting to be an artist, spent more than 10 years in Silicon Valley working as a software engineer for Google, Apple, Twitter, and now a startup. The intent of the Humane Gallery is to show that the emerging digital capabilities can enable good and inspiring art.
This exhibition reflects a personal love for capturing a moment in time, sometimes playful, sometimes fun, and sometimes simply peaceful, with a desire to make the observer have a sense of presence in those moments.
Ekaterina Kouznetsova is a multidisciplinary artist and cultural strategist with a background in art history and fine art photography. She previously founded and ran an art company that connected international artists with collectors through prints, original works, and commissions, and exhibited her own photography in art galleries in the United States.
Her wider work across luxury marketing, arts and culture, and creative strategy informs a practice shaped by beauty, symbolism, memory, and perception. This exhibition is particularly inspired by Michel Serres' The Five Senses and Baudelaire's Les Fleurs du Mal.
